Results that get better year after year. More flavour, fuller blooms, and soil in better shape every season.

"I like Dr Forest's general-purpose feed, which is organic, made here in the UK, and full of good stuff."
Alys Fowler · The Guardian

Named after my grandfather Dr Forrest.
Dr Forest is named after my grandfather, Dr Forrest, a GP from a mining town near Preston. Off-shift he kept a back-garden plot growing runner beans for the piccalilli he made for family and friends.
We've taken the evidence-based approach of medicine and applied it to soil, guided by peer-reviewed science, not dogma. Every batch is hand-blended here in Stockport. No mystery NPK fillers. British-sourced minerals where possible, organic plant meals and microbial biology. Every ingredient named on the bag.

Soil-first. Organic always.
Every Dr Forest blend is built around British-sourced minerals, organic plant meals and live microbial biology, feeding the soil so the soil feeds the plant.
It's slower than synthetic NPK. It works for longer. And it leaves your soil in better shape every season, the way good gardens have always been made.
Packaging
Every blended fertiliser — around 80% of the range — ships in a kraft bag with a plant-based liner that's industrially compostable, so the whole bag goes in your council green bin. Boxed in cardboard, sealed with brown paper tape. The exceptions are the few inputs that need an airtight barrier — humic, fulvic and mycorrhizae — and our liquids, which come in recycled HDPE bottles that are themselves recyclable. We'd rather tell you exactly what's compostable and what's recycled than print plastic-free over the lot.

My chilli plants look great, another great product from Dr Forest.

As with every product from Dr Forest, the quality is excellent and this one is no exception. My plants are healthy ,vibrant green and show no signs of any trace element deficiency. Many thanks, Dr Forrest

As always, delivered quickly and packed perfectly. Its my first time delving into the world of bio-char. I've previously not made a purchase, because it never comes activated. However, dr forest gave precise directions to instruction on YouTube, with 5 varying methods, to inoculate. 1 of which is very easy and quick, so I did that one.

This bloom booster works well I’m very impressed just like all the DR’s products I have used. Incredibly smelly stuff don’t get it on your hands it’s impossible to wash off. The tomatoes have gone crazy with fruit production and have started stretching even more we literally have 6 feet tall tomato plants. Unbelievable.

I decided to try granular potash to take some of the strain from regular watering. I can’t recommend this product enough. My fruit trees and flowers are thriving with little effort from me. I’ve made some bags up for family and friends and they’re impressed with the product. A little goes a long way. It’s clean and easy to use. The potash was delivered shortly after ordering. I would definitely order from Dr Forest again.
My shrubs, herbaceous plants and lawn seem generally healthier, lusher, more floriferous, and I think larger flowers. Also an efficient service.
I’ve used Dr Forest potato fertiliser on multiple varieties of normal potato and sweet potatoes. I’ve noticed the foliage has exploded, the stems are nice and thick as well. Another great product from Dr Forest. Great service and great knowledge about what fertilisers you need. Get some before it’s gone.
I didn’t want to rely on harsh chemicals to feed my roses, I appreciate that Dr Forest Premium Rose and Flower fertiliser is both organic and sustainable, looking after the soil and the roses, slowly releasing nutrients. I’ve used this food for two seasons now, I noticed how well my roses were growing with several flushes of blooms with good colour and fragrance.

In organic gardens you'll often hear that pH doesn't matter because the soil buffers it. Only partly true. pH drifts even in well-tended organic systems, slowing growth before you notice. How to test it, how to raise or lower it gently, and which UK plants want what.
Yellow leaves on a tomato plant aren't one problem. They're a symptom of half a dozen different things, and the right fix depends on which one. The position of the yellow on the plant and the pattern inside the leaf together name the cause. The diagnostic guide, plus a feeding programme that prevents most cases.
